Our office is in Westwood at 10850 Wilshire Blvd.

Yes. We handle all permits, plan checks, and LADBS submissions in-house. We also handle plan-check submissions to Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, Pasadena, Glendale, Burbank, Culver City, West Hollywood, Long Beach, and other incorporated cities that run their own plan-check departments separate from LADBS.

Yes. Lux Construction LA holds an active California Contractors State License Board (CSLB) license, and we carry general liability and workers compensation insurance on every project. License and insurance certificates are provided with every contract.

Yes. We regularly phase construction so that medical practices, dental offices, restaurants, and commercial tenants continue to operate during the work. The process requires Infection Control Risk Assessment protocols for healthcare spaces, temporary barriers, separate construction access, and after-hours sequencing.

Both. Most of our dental and medical office projects are delivered through our in-house architectural and engineering coordination, meaning design and construction happen under one accountability structure. When a client brings us drawings from an outside architect, we build from those drawings directly — we’ll review the plan set during discovery for code and constructability issues before issuing the GMP proposal.

Every project we deliver is contracted on a Guaranteed Maximum Price basis. The total cost is documented and locked before construction begins. If actual costs come in below the GMP, the savings return to the client. If they come in above, we absorb the difference.
